WHO IS THIS COURSE DESIGNED FOR?

Individuals that can demonstrate the qualities needed to be effective and professional in their role as a close protection operative. Establishing and maintaining a safe working environment in which a principal can live and work whilst continually minimising risk.

The structured programme of training and education this course provides will bring to the fore the qualities required to be the best.

Content:

The qualification consists of the following seven units.

1. Assess level of threats and risks to principals.
2. Plan and prepare to minimise threat and risk to principals.
3. Liaise and communicate with principals and others.
4. Establish and maintain secure environments.
5. Maintain the safety and security of principals whilst mobile.
6. Respond to medical crises.
7. Respond to conflict

To include Driving techniques and final exercise assessment (36hours)

Course Entry requirements:

No specific prior qualifications, learning or experience are required for candidates undertaking the qualification. However, the nature of both the learning and assessment required for the qualification is such that candidates will need basic literacy and numeracy skills. Driving licence is not essential. Once completed the training you can then go on to apply for youre SIA licence

Duration:

It is envisaged that operatives will require 140 guided learning hours in order to complete the seven units.
